Description

Saltash Rotary Club is part of Rotary International a worldwide organisation of men and women who work together to give service to others locally, nationally and internationally. Rotarians commit time to practical hands-on work such as organising events like Youth Speaks, Young Chef, Kids Out,and Santa's sleigh, supporting local initiatives - May Fair, The Christmas Parade and the Saltash Regatta. Fund raising helps to pay for these local good causes plus significant projects in other less developed countries giving clean water, shelter, schooling, replacement limbs and relief from diseases like polio and malaria.

Rotarians in Saltash concentrate on making their work fun and good days out have been had decorating at the Burraton Community Centre, Gardening at the Shado Centre and Stewarding at open days at Trematon Hall and Ince Castle. We take a pride in our town, the Rotary provided and sponsored welcome signs at Carkeel, and the Floral boats at the Bridge slip roads help to provide a welcome to all who visit.
