Description

Wild Futures is currently closed for the winter - 2024 opening dates will be available soon.

Set in beautiful woodland and nestled into the side of the south Cornish coast between Looe and Seaton, Wild Futures’ Monkey Sanctuary cares for a range of different species of rescued monkeys, giving visitors an intimate insight into a working sanctuary and a chance to meet some of its amazing monkey residents.

There’s lots to do for the whole family, who can take a walk around the monkey enclosures and learn about these fascinating animals and the work that goes into caring for them on a daily basis, from our expert team.
The Monkey Sanctuary is home to over 35 individuals; many of them rescued from conditions of abuse and neglect and each one with their distinct characters and personalities. As we are a sanctuary home to rescued monkey that sadly have suffered as a direct result of being kept as a pet, the needs of the monkeys always take priority. Therefore some areas of the sanctuary are not accessible by our visitors so as to give the monkeys the time they need to recover and progress physically, emotionally and socially. The monkeys get fed almost every hour throughout the day, so visitors should be able to watch individuals enjoying a snack or hanging out with their friends!

Wild Futures is the only UK primate welfare and conservation charity rescuing, campaigning, educating and providing sanctuary to primates in need.
